About Me
As an Instructional Designer, I leverage my passion for visual design to create engaging and effective e-Learning solutions. My expertise in using Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise allows me to develop dynamic courses and job aids that transform content into compelling learning experiences.
By collaborating closely with businesses and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), I ensure that the training materials I create are not only visually appealing but also strategically designed to meet learning objectives. My Virtual Instructor-Led Trainings (VILT) and Instructor-Led Trainings (ILT) are crafted to drive measurable changes in workplace behavior, making mandatory job trainings bot engaging and impactful.
With my approach, employees will no longer merely complete training to check a box; they will actively engage with the material, leading to improved performance and business outcomes.
How I Design
While I am well-versed in ADDIE, SAM, and AGILE design processes, I typically blend ADDIE and SAM to adapt to a company’s specific methodologies. My approach begins with a thorough analysis of existing materials, including documents, previous courses, and relevant data. I then collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to clearly define the problem and establish learning objectives that are specific, achievable within the given timeframe, and measurable.
Following this, I develop a comprehensive design document outlining various options, such as course type, duration, delivery method, and additional deliverables like job aids. Once the design is approved, I create a storyboard if applicable, which undergoes review before proceeding to course development.
The development phase includes iterative testing phases—alpha, beta, and gold—to refine the course. Post-launch, I actively participate in evaluating the course’s effectiveness in meeting expectations and achieving the desired outcomes, ensuring a continuous improvement process.
